A walk with Em in Belair National Park. Lots of golden wattle - after all, it is officially Wattle Day. Busy bees captured at work. A lovely day.
Emily and I spent a lovely Father's Day together today. First up was a photo stroll through the cool Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens. Then a massive but delicious lunch at Seasonal in Hahndorf.
Last night, I went to Emily and Ash's for an astronomical double bill: Mars in the evening and a blood morning in the (very) early morning. We had a lovely evening with some lovely people, though the telescope and camera weren't doing the event all that much justice. I headed to bed early in the cosy vardo. Around 5:00 am next morning we were up to view the blood moon. Again, the camera didn't capture all the magic. But that doesn't matter - it was a wonderful experience and such a beautiful start to the day.
A couple of months back we had a particularly clear night with a full moon. I managed to get this shot with my camera and tripod.
Emily and I had a photo day on Granite Island.
Emily and I had a photo day in Myponga.
